*This Week: “I Seek Rest”

I will admit that I can do better with ensuring that I get enough sleep. Perhaps this is my own poorly conditioned way of thinking but I have developed a habit of thought of the more you do the more effective you are.  What I have learned or should I say what I’m beginning to understand is the more effective you are at managing your sleeping habits the better you will be at reaching your awake goals.

My “This Week” goal is for the next five days I will go to bed at 11pm. I will turn everything off and get into bed and try to fall asleep. I anticipate perhaps the first day will be hard. But as mentioned before I fully understand the importance of reshaping my sleeping habits. Perhaps this has been the reason for why I haven’t been successful with my reaching my pervious “This Week” goals? I believe going into this goal the most important thing I will have to remind myself is whatever I didn’t complete by 11pm I can complete the next day.

It is amazing how busy one can be.. or thinks he/she is. I am a bit further as you are. I sleep better now because I allow myself to catch my sleep when I need it as well. No matter what time of the day it is, the sun shines or what people think of me. Tomorrow is an other day and if not nothing is lost either. Sleep tight.
