We have so many demands that often we find little time to take care of ourselves or do the things we prefer to do. Time is precious and I was thinking about this when I decided to write this Random Thought & Occurrences entry. So I have taken a collection of what I like to call “This Week.” “This Week,” is a list of things I have heard the people who are around me say are a list of things they needed to do but for some reason they weren’t able to complete. I’m thinking about creating a new series entitled “This Week” where I will follow my own or someone else one “This Week” item to determine if the weekly objective was accomplished and if not why.
This week will be different. This week I will stop smoking. This week I will kick ass at the gym. This week I will eat healthier. This week I will open myself up to the ideal of finding love. This week I will be happy.
Wait! Damn it! What am I saying! I almost forgot. This week will be a stressful week, I have a deadline at work. This week I have to drop Jacob off at soccer practice so no time for the gym.
This week I won’t have time to cook so I guess we are having take out again. This week I can’t go out on a date, I’ll be too exhausted by the end of the week. Damn, (sigh) let me check my schedule to see if I’m free next week.
