Sometimes I feel like I just want to walk away from it all. Start over with a fresh start. I would begin with a new name, new clothes, and a new hair style. All I would keep from the old me to give to the new me is my smile, I kinda like the awkwardness of my smile.

I would clear out my savings and 401k. The little money I have been able to save since the fall of the economy wouldn’t go far so I would have to work odd jobs a long the way.

I would travel south-west to New Mexico and live in the desert for a moment. I hear you can really feel the energy of the land pulsating around you. I would spend a year in the state of Washington and visit all the lakes, rivers, and streams.

The rain falling on the trees perhaps would help me reconnect to nature. I would finally settle somewhere in California, north enough so can get the rain I found in Washington, but south enough so I can experience the warmth I found in New Mexico.
