So this week I was at a lost for words as to what to write about.  Since returning to blogging after a long hiatus, changing the name, and brainstorming on how to truly focus on the purpose of this blog. I have spent very little time actually writing down my own thoughts. Thankfully, while looking for photographs for this post on @mccarthyofficial.

I came across the statement/post below and after reading it several times I thought to myself, “Wow, so true.” So I attempted to look up this quote to determine who originally wrote it. I came across several possible names but wasn’t sure which one was accurate. Nevertheless, How often do we put ourselves or allow others to place us in similar positions as the flower?

“When I was little I picked up a flower and put it in a vase. After a few days, it died. I asked my mom why and she said: You can’t force a flower to thrive somewhere it doesn’t belong to. And now I have realized that people are like that too.” – Unknown
